This insulation does not melt and drip easily and has high dielectric strength offering high insulation resistance. It offers a high critical oxygen index (>29%) and high-temperature index (>250°C), which helps to restrict the spread of fire and improves self-extinguishing properties. These wires confirm to IS 694: 1990 and far exceed the minimum standard requirements.
